Since 1995, the National Head Start Fellowships program has offered a select group of outstanding people a year-long opportunity to participate in government at the highest levels. More than 100 alumni of the program have gone on to become leaders in early childhood and family services at all levels, fulfilling the fellowship's mission to create a new cadre of leaders in the field.
