Overview
The ninth annual Head Start and Early Head Start Directors’ Institute was held November 28 -30, 2005 in Arlington, Virginia, followed by the 40th anniversary celebratory event - Honoring the Past, Strengthening the Future.
The Institute hosted some 400 participants over two days with intensified workshops and learning opportunities in Financial Management, Program Governance, and Management Systems. Additional features included a Marketplace of resources on Head Start National Contracts and other Federal partners, a “hands-on” Demo District showcasing useful software applications, a Film Forum, and individual Conflict Resolution sessions.
