Gwen Shavalier works with the Technical Assistance Network for Region V, providing training and technical assistance support to Head Start programs in
Michigan . Prior to joining the Technical Assistance Network, she served as a PRISM (Program Review Instrument for Systems Monitoring) reviewer for eight years, addressing the areas of program design and management, and family and community partnerships. Ms. Shavalier began her 19-year career with Head Start as a Social Services, Parent Involvement and Health Coordinator and continued as a Head Start Director for seven years.
