Pat Brinkman, who has 18 years of experience in early childhood and social services, began her career as a preschool teacher in a cooperative preschool and a parent educator via a local community college. Over the years, she completed both an associate and a baccalaureate degree. Involved with Head Start since 1990 and a Head Start Reviewer since 1993, Ms. Brinkman has held positions ranging from Family Advocate and middle management to Director. In addition, she has served as an adjunct faculty member teaching early childhood classes and as a trainer and field mentor for the Social Competency-Based Training via
Portland
State
University.
Rob Colombini, Regional Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator, has devoted the last decade to working with multiple grantees in Washington and
California in several capacities: Teacher, Director, Transition Coordinator, Education Manager, and Training Manager in both Head Start and Early Head Start. He has served as Manager of a Developmental Disabilities Program in
Washington, DC and continues to participate in multiple Fatherhood Initiatives and to develop local programs. Mr. Colombini, who holds a baccalaureate degree in early childhood development, enjoys time spent expanding his knowledge of both the French and Spanish languages.
