Christopher Watkins, a Management Specialist with over 11 years of experience providing training and consultation to Head Start grantees, has consulted extensively with local programs and developed and presented hundreds of management and supervision workshops throughout the Southeast, as well as at national and regional Head Start conferences. Prior to join the Training and Technical Assistance System, Mr. Watkins worked as a policy researcher at the Brookings Institution in
Washington, DC . In addition to a baccalaureate degree in government from

Kentucky
University , a master’s degree in economics from

University , a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from
Duke
University , as well as extensive graduate and post-graduate course work in management, organizational design and public policy, he currently pursues a doctorate in urban and public affairs at the
